About the role
We're looking for an experienced practice manager who is a hands on leader and someone who enjoys taking responsibility and initiative, communicates clearly and is proactive at solving problems and streamlining processes.Working closely with a small team- Practice Director, clinicians and our administration team member, you'll play a key role in coordinating administrative processes, and ensure the efficient running of the practice and delivering an exceptional experience for clients and families.
Key responsibilities
- Overseeing the day to day operations of the practice and supporting the administration team
- Managing client enquiries and ensuring prompt, professional follow-up
- Proactively managing clinician schedules, appointments, cancellations and waitlists to maximise appointment availability
- Ensuring clients and families receive a warm, responsive and skilled service
- Coordinating administrative workflows and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Overseeing billing, invoicing and other routine financial administration processes
- Optimising systems,
processes and operational efficiency
- Supporting effective communication between the administration team, clinicians and Practice Director
- Managing and resolving day to day operational issues
About you
- Demonstrated experience in practice management, preferably within allied health or another healthcare setting
- Experience coordinating or supervising administrative staff
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- A proactive approach to appointment scheduling, waitlist management and client enquiries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional manner
- Confidence using practice management software and other digital systems
- Sound judgement, attention to detail and a commitment to following tasks through
- The ability to work independently, solve problems and take ownership of outcomes
- Experience with Splose would be an advantage, but is not essential
- Experience with NDIS related invoicing and associated admin alongside an understanding of Medicare billing processes would very desirable.
