Our Practice is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team in Bundaberg, Queensland. This is a part-time position that will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare to our patients. As a Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting our doctors and contributing to the overall smooth functioning of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing nursing care and assistance to patients, including administering medications, dressing wounds, and performing basic medical procedures
2. Conducting health assessments, screenings, and immunisations
3. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
4. Assisting with the coordination and organisation of patient appointments and follow-up care
5. Collaborating with the medical team to ensure the highest standards of patient care
6. Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations within the practice
What we're looking for
1. A registered nurse with a valid practising certificate
2. Experience in a general practice or community healthcare setting
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and the medical team
4. Excellent organisational and time management skills

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
