Salary: Up to $118,000 plus super (2027 EBA pending)

Leadership Allowance: $6,326 per annum

Leadership Release: 5 periods per fortnight

HARKE Recruitment has partnered with an established Catholic P–12 College in regional Victoria to recruit for two separate Primary leadership positions commencing Term 1, 2027. The College has served its community for approximately 40 years and is experiencing an exciting period of growth. Available Positions

1. Primary Numeracy Leader

An opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher or emerging leader to strengthen numeracy teaching and student outcomes across the Primary years.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Primary numeracy initiatives and curriculum development.
- Support teachers with effective Maths instruction and assessment.
- Analyse student achievement data to identify improvement priorities.
- Coach and mentor teachers in evidence-based numeracy practices.
- Work collaboratively with school leadership on teaching and learning improvement.

2. Primary Coordinator | Years 3–6

An opportunity to provide curriculum, pastoral and staff leadership across Years 3–6.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate teaching, learning and day-to-day operations across Years 3–6.
- Support and mentor classroom teachers.




- Lead student wellbeing, behaviour and pastoral initiatives.
- Strengthen curriculum consistency and student achievement.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff and families.

About You

The College welcomes applications from experienced Primary Teachers, Year Level Leaders, Numeracy Specialists and emerging leaders.

Requirements:

- Relevant Primary teaching qualifications.
- Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain VIT.
- Strong Primary curriculum knowledge and classroom teaching experience.
- Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and values of the College.
- Australian working rights.

Victorian, interstate and New Zealand-trained teachers are encouraged to apply. The school can not support sponsorship.
