South-West Sydney | Permanent Full time | Day, Afternoon & Night Shifts An established food manufacturer is seeking trade-qualified Process Technicians to operate and maintain automated packing equipment.
Three permanent positions are available, with one role on each shift: day, afternoon and night.
This hands-on opportunity suits someone who enjoys taking ownership of equipment performance, solving problems and keeping production running efficiently.
The role:
- Operate automated packing equipment to meet production and quality targets.
- Complete equipment cleaning, inspections and lubrication.
- Diagnose and resolve faults within your trade qualifications.
- Investigate recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
- Follow food safety, HACCP and critical control point requirements.
What you’ll bring:
- Certificate III in a Mechanical Trade and/or Electrotechnology,
with a current NSW electrical licence for electrical work.
- Experience with automated food, beverage or FMCG production and packing lines.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with tools such as 5 Whys and fishbone analysis.
- A practical approach and willingness to take responsibility for equipment operation and upkeep.
- Availability to work weekends as part of a seven-day roster.

- $45-$60 per hour + super, depending on skills and experience.
