The Role

Based at our Brisbane facility and reporting to the Product & Test Executive Manager, you will play an important role in the characterisation, testing and continuous improvement of our UV LED products.

This is a hands-on role that combines advanced testing, automation, data analysis and problem-solving. You will work closely with engineering, technology and manufacturing teams to support product development and production activities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Operating advanced optical and electrical test equipment

- Supporting product characterisation and performance testing activities

- Developing and improving test software, automation tools and user interfaces

- Analysing test and production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

- Applying statistical analysis and process control techniques to improve product quality and reliability

- Maintaining, calibrating and troubleshooting test equipment and instrumentation

- Investigating test and product-related issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

- Creating and maintaining test procedures, reports and technical documentation





- Supporting new product introduction and manufacturing release activities

About You

You will be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Science or a related discipline.

You are naturally curious, analytical and practical, with a passion for solving technical problems and working with data. You enjoy understanding how things work and are motivated to continuously develop your skills and knowledge.

Experience in some of the following areas will be highly regarded:

- Semiconductor, electronics or manufacturing environments

- Optical and electrical testing

- Test automation and software development

- LabVIEW programming

- Python scripting and data analysis

- Statistical analysis, DOE or process improvement methodologies

- Scientific or engineering instrumentation
