Join the Team
As a Product Owner of our End User Compute Program, you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the product vision and roadmap for the Rapid Access & Authentication service. This is an exciting opportunity to own the product vision, roadmap and lifecycle of a statewide service, working with customers, clinicians, technology teams and vendors to deliver meaningful outcomes that improve user experience, security and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Own and drive the product vision, roadmap and backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, customer needs and operational requirements.
- Partner with customers, Local Health Districts and health entities to understand business challenges, validate requirements and shape product direction.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, cyber security, identity and operational teams to deliver customer-focused technology outcomes.
- Prioritise competing demands, balancing customer expectations, technical debt, risk,
service stability and delivery capacity.
- Leverage service performance, incidents, problems and risk insights to continuously improve the product and inform backlog priorities.
- Support product lifecycle management, including transitioning new capabilities into BAU and contributing to vendor, licensing and investment decisions.

- Demonstrated Product Owner or product lifecycle management experience within a large, complex technology environment.
- Strong backlog management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to translate customer and business needs into clear outcomes.
- Proven ability to balance customer demand, risk, technical debt, service stability and delivery capacity.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, working effectively with customers, technical teams, senior leaders, vendors and partners.
- Experience transitioning technology solutions from project delivery into business-as-usual ownership and support.
- Desirable experience in health or digital health ICT, IAM, SSO, EUC, cyber security, integration technologies and Imprivata solutions.
