B&R; Recruitment Group is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Production Machine Operator to join a leading steel manufacturing company based in Penrith.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established business that values safety, teamwork, and employee development. Full training will be provided on company machinery for the successful candidate.
About the Role
As a Production Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and effective work environment.
Duties Include:
- Setting up and operating production machinery
- Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as required
- Conducting quality checks on finished products
- Troubleshooting minor machine issues
- Completing production documentation and records
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Operating a forklift to move materials and finished products
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to workplace safety
