Production Operator

Location: Smithfield | 8:00AM – 4:00PM

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operator to join our production team. This role supports day-to-day manufacturing and packing activities across blending, production, and materials handling.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

- Assist with manufacturing and production activities in line with production schedules.
- Operate and monitor production and packing equipment as required.
- Operate packing machines to measure, handle, and transfer materials safely and accurately.
- Follow all WHS procedures, SOPs, and PPE requirements at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
- Comply with chemical handling, spill response, and environmental procedures.
- Assist with equipment cleaning, setup, and basic maintenance.
- Operate forklifts and other plant equipment where licensed and trained.
- Complete basic production records, batch documentation, and checklists accurately.

Skills & Experience

- Experience in a manufacturing, production,



or industrial environment.
- Ability to follow procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Physically capable of manual handling and working in a production environment.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn new processes.
- LF Forklift licence with high reach and counterbalance experience.
- Experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling and lifting.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Ability to work safely while following company procedures and WHS requirements.
