We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated sales professional with the drive and passion to succeed — someone who takes pride in their results, enjoys working towards targets and is always looking for ways to become better at what they do.

This isn’t simply about serving customers. We’re looking for someone who understands professional selling — building rapport, asking the right questions, listening carefully, reading body language and buying signals, demonstrating value, handling objections, negotiating and confidently closing the sale.

You need to be able to think on your feet. Every customer and every sales conversation is different. Great salespeople recognise when something isn’t working, change direction and pivot their approach.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has proven sales experience and genuinely enjoys selling
- Is self-motivated and takes responsibility for their own performance
- Has drive, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to succeed
- Can read customers, body language and buying signals
- Builds rapport and trust naturally
- Asks good questions and genuinely listens
- Can explain value rather than simply focusing on price
- Is persuasive and confident without being pushy




- Can handle objections and negotiate confidently
- Can think on their feet and pivot when needed
- Recognises when a customer is ready to buy and confidently asks for the sale
- Follows up customers and sales opportunities consistently
- Enjoys working towards targets and improving their results
- Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Welcomes coaching and feedback
- Genuinely wants to continue learning and improving
- Has competent everyday computer and administration skills and is comfortable learning recent systems
- Is organised and follows through on commitments
- Brings a positive, professional attitude to the team

You don’t need to be a computer expert, but you do need to be willing and able to learn.

Bedding or furniture experience would be an advantage, but professional sales ability, attitude, self-motivation and willingness to learn are what will really set you apart.

This role won’t suit everyone.

If you’re looking for a position where you can simply turn up, wait for customers and do the minimum required, this probably isn’t the role for you.
