About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Functional Project Manager / Business Analys t for a 6 -month contract based in Melbourn e. This role is ideal for a seasoned investment management professional who has strong functional expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience delivering technology and business transformation initiatives within the investment management industry

.The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project sponsors to drive the successful delivery of investment-related projects while ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end investment technology or business transformation projects.

Gather, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements.

Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping sessions.

Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, user stories, and process flows.

Coordinate project planning, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Manage project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.





Support solution design and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and business sign-off.

Assist with implementation planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.

Required Skills & Experie

- 8+ years of experience as a Functional Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Functional Consultant within Investment Management
- Solid understanding of front, middle, and back-office investment operations
- Experience across one or more of the following:
- Investment Data Management & Trade Management
- Investment Accounting
- Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong business analysis, documentation, and process mapping skills.
- Experience delivering Agile and/or Waterfall projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Experi ence Experience working with one or more of the following platforms would be highly advantageous
