Tennant Mines is a gold resources company with an extensive exploration portfolio, including the highly prospective Tennant Creek Goldfield. As the business continues to advance its exploration and development activities, we are seeking a Project Geologist to join our Exploration Team and contribute to the discovery and growth of our mineral resources.

Reporting to the Exploration Manager, the Project Geologist will play a key role in planning, executing and delivering exploration programs across our Northern Territory projects. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced exploration geologist who enjoys field work, technical interpretation and seeing projects progress from target generation through to resource growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute exploration programs safely, efficiently and in line with approved budgets and schedules.

- Manage RC and diamond drilling programs, including geological logging, sampling and data collection.

- Interpret geological, structural, geochemical and drilling data to support target generation and resource growth initiatives.

- Develop and maintain geological models using industry-standard geological software and digital tools.

- Ensure geological data, sampling and QA/QC processes are maintained to a high technical standard.

- Manage exploration contractors and service providers to achieve safe and effective project outcomes.

- Contribute to exploration targeting, geological interpretations and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with internal technical teams, consultants and contractors to support exploration success.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related discipline.

- Minimum 3 years' exploration geology experience.

- Experience managing RC and diamond drilling programs.





- Strong geological logging, interpretation and target generation skills.

- Experience with QA/QC processes and geological databases.

- Proficiency with Leapfrog, Micromine or similar geological software.

- Australian exploration experience.

- Current Australian manual driver's licence and full Australian work rights.

- Experience in gold and/or copper exploration will be highly regarded.
