About the role

Fixed Term role until 30th Nov 2028

No two days are the same in this high performing and busy role. With your main focus as the Project Manager, Security you will assist the Security Manager with the installation of the Security Platform System and responding to security service requests across Fire Rescue Victoria various sites.

These security service requests include but are not limited to fixed detection including CCTV, access systems including the maintenance of appropriate databases and the supervision of the issue of keyed and electronic access for all FRV and contract staff.

Great communication and highly efficent your key stakeholders range from external vendors, contractors to FRV's emergency agencies & services on counter-terrorism issues and industry standards.

As part of continuous improvement you create and work to established guidelines and processes to ensure all FRV properties and buildings remain secured and secure.

Key responsibilities

- Reporting to the Contracts & Compliance Manager to ensure adequate levels of security physical & personal is provided to all FRV properties including identification and assessment of potential threats to the FRV properties and assets, including availability to Manage compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Establish, monitor and report on security budget for life cycle maintenance and enhancements where necessary using FRV project framework or other FRV document management.
- You build trust, respect, and confidence of team members and customers through consistent honesty, forthrightness and professionalism in all interactions.
- Process appropriate invoicing and validation of quotes of service Assist with management of security permissions and access using security systems, databases and software across Division A and Division B FRV Properties.
- Control and record site and building access, including the provision and return of keys and access fobs/cards.



Assist with management of FRV CCTV platform within in a secure environment, including the provision of providing assistance FRV Security Manager, internal and external investigations and audits. Identify and implement improved security management.
- Assist in Managing FRV ID card production and issuing as part of onboarding requisites.
- You comply to policies, procedures, workflows and instructions.
- Manage issuing of new FRV id cards and security fobs lost, stolen and replacement through fair wear and tear.
- Assist with management of major sites security guards, monitor security contractor preventative maintenance schedule and site audits.
- Assist with site visits to audit maintenance procedures and outcomes.
- Provide specialist and current advice to Manager of security to support FRV directorates, departments and stake FRV directorates, departments and stakeholders.
- Engage in site lock downs and evacuation processes with ability to liaise with all Victorian emergency service departments as required.
- Assist with management of in place car park manager at Eastern Hill. Manage process of car park audits and , issuing of Parking permits.
- Processing of invoicing Monthly or purchase order goods receipting.

About you

Experience in CCTV, Indigo vision, join pro software with AXIS knowledge. Pacom GMS security software. Siemens and challenger system experience preferred.IVMS 4200, Forcefield.

Substantial system knowledge ideally Integriti Security RTU 5024/5 is preferred.





Sound knowledge and experience with the Omega security Key register system.Dallas delta and cisco systems preferable

- Pacom Security systems qualified with relevant industry experience .
- Proficient in new FRV Integriti security access platform.
- Trade based through radio trades or electronic technical specialist.
