Our client is a highly regarded civil construction contractor delivering major bulk earthworks, infrastructure and earthmoving projects across Western Australia. With a strong reputation for safety, quality and project delivery, they have established themselves as a trusted contractor across the resources and civil construction sectors.

With a growing project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a significant bulk earthworks project and play a key role in its successful delivery.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong bulk earthworks or civil construction background to join a well-established contractor and take responsibility for the successful delivery of a major project in Western Australia.

Working closely with the project team, client and subcontractors, you will oversee the project from planning and mobilisation through to completion, ensuring it is delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage the overall delivery of a major bulk earthworks project, including planning, programming, resourcing and commercial performance.
- Lead and support Project Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen and site-based teams to achieve project objectives.
- Manage project budgets, costs, variations, forecasting and commercial outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project programs, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Coordinate plant, labour, materials and subcontractor requirements to maximise productivity and efficiency.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality requirements and WHS standards.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Provide regular project reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

- Demonstrated Project Management experience within bulk earthworks, civil construction, mining or major infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale earthworks projects, ideally involving significant quantities of material movement and heavy mobile plant.
- Solid commercial, financial and contractual management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and drive project outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, programming, cost control and reporting.
- Experience working with major mining, resources or civil construction clients will be highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.




- Strong understanding of Australian WHS requirements and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
