The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established property group with a significant commercial property portfolio, Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Property Accountant to join their finance team in Brisbane.

This is an opportunity to step into a broad, hands-on role where you'll work closely with Property Managers, Leasing Managers and senior stakeholders while taking responsibility for the financial performance and reporting of a retail-focused property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting
- Manage property accounting, reporting and reconciliations
- Oversee tenant billings, receipting and rent roll reviews
- Partner with Property Managers on reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets, outgoings estimates and outgoings reconciliations
- Assist with audits, board reporting and ad hoc analysis
- Support acquisitions, disposals and valuation processes as required

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous Property Accounting experience
- Robust budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills




- Experience interpreting leases and translating them into financial outcomes
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- CA/CPA qualifications (completed or in progress) will be highly regarded
