MensPsych is a growing Adelaide psychology practice dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of boys and men.

We're a little different from the traditional psychology clinic. Our approach is practical, down-to-earth and evidence-based. We believe in valuable clinical work, genuine relationships and creating an environment where both clients and clinicians feel comfortable being themselves.

We're looking for a Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar who shares that philosophy and wants to be part of what we're building.

What's on Offer?

- Competitive salary: $110,000 FTE ($66,000 at 0.6 FTE), plus superannuation.
- $4,000 annual professional development allowance, provided in full despite the part-time appointment.
- 44 planned weeks of clinical work per year, allowing time for annual leave, professional development time, and other leave entitlements.
- Two weeks of additional professional development leave, on a pro-rata basis.
- Fortnightly clinical supervision with a board approved supervisor to support your professional training.
- Three clinical days per week, with flexibility around scheduling. Start early, or start late. It's totally up to you.
- Established referral networks and marketing, so you can focus on clinical work rather than finding clients.
- Fully equipped consulting rooms, practice management systems and administrative support.

collaborative environment with opportunities to develop your clinical interests and expertise.

About the Role

You'll provide psychological assessment and therapy to adolescent boys and adult men presenting with a broad range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, life transitions and emotional wellbeing.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your own clinical style and interests while receiving the supervision and professional support needed to progress towards clinical endorsement.

We're interested in clinicians who value evidence-based practice, can build genuine connections with clients and enjoy working collaboratively.

Who We're Looking For

- General registration as a psychologist with AHPRA.
- Eligibility for, or current enrolment in, the Clinical Psychology Registrar Program is desirable but not essential.
- An interest in working with boys and men.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a practical, collaborative approach to therapy.
- A willingness to learn, contribute and be part of a growing practice.

Previous experience working specifically with male clients is welcome but not essential.
