The Langham Hotel Melbourne is currently looking for a Public Area Attendant to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work with the Housekeeping Department which consists of approximately 115 colleagues . This is an exciting opportunity for you to grow your hotel skill set in order to build a career with-in The Langham, shall you be determined and dedicated.

This position is an integral part of a high performing hotel team, and a key contributor to the hotel’s ongoing success.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Cleaning of all function rooms, restaurant and front of house areas of hotel, guest toilets.
- Cleaning of all back of house areas including staff change rooms.
- Pick up function rooms between back to back functions at the direction of Shiftleaders.
- Spot clean spillage’s throughout the public areas of the hotel when required.

For this role, your attributes will be inclusive of the following:

- The candidate will be required to work across a seven day a week rotating roster.
- Candidates must be available to work a combination of morning 7.00am – 15.00pm, afternoon 15.00pm – 23.00pm and overnight shifts 23.00pm – 07.00am. There are three shifts covering a 24 hour operation.
- Whilst the role is part time we are seeking a professional who can work up to 30 hours per week.
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Eye for detail

Morning 7.00am – 15.00pm, Afternoon 15.00pm – 23.00pm and

Overnight shifts 23.00pm – 07.00am.

- Whilst the role is part time we are seeking a professional who can work up to 30 hours per week.
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage

- Customer Service Experience, previous role in Housekeeping or Bond Cleaning an advantage.
