About the Role

As our Pump Sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships and helping customers find the right pumping solutions for their properties and operations.

Working alongside our experienced technical team, you'll have the support and expertise needed to deliver practical, reliable solutions tailored to each customer's requirements.

We're looking for someone who is confident in sales, enjoys building relationships and has the drive to identify opportunities and turn them into results.

Key Responsibilities

- Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities across agricultural, rural, residential and commercial markets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

- Promote and sell solar pumping, electric pumping, water transfer and associated water management solutions.





- Understand customer requirements and work with our technical team to recommend suitable pumping systems.

- Prepare and follow up quotations, enquiries and sales proposals.

- Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to successful sale.

- Develop relationships with suppliers, contractors and industry contacts.

- Identify emerging market opportunities and contribute to business growth.

- Represent SPS Solar Water professionally, maintaining our commitment to quality, integrity and customer service.

About You – Skills & Requirements

We're looking for someone who brings energy, initiative and a genuine commitment to achieving results.

Essential:

- Proven sales experience with a demonstrated ability to develop business and achieve sales targets.

- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to pursue new opportunities.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups.

- A professional, customer-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering quality service.

- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team.

- Confidence using computers, sales systems and quoting software.

- Current driver's licence.

Highly Regarded:

- Experience in pump sales, irrigation, agricultural equipment or water management.





- Knowledge of solar pumping, bore pumps, surface pumps or electric pumping systems.

- Existing relationships or experience within the rural and agricultural sectors.

- Technical aptitude and an interest in emerging technologies.

Previous pumping industry experience would be an advantage, but we're equally interested in experienced sales professionals with the right attitude, drive and willingness to develop their technical knowledge.
