About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Permanent Full-Time Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our workshop team, based at our Caboolture depot.

This is a hands-on and varied role working across heavy vehicles, trailers, crane support equipment and general fabrication. You’ll be involved in everything from major modifications and structural fabrication through to repairs, maintenance and smaller custom workshop projects.

Your work will include:

- Building, modifying and repairing heavy vehicles and trailers

- Fabrication and construction of crane bog mats and support equipment

- Structural modifications, repairs and custom fabrication

- Welding, cutting, fitting and general workshop fabrication

- Completing maintenance, repairs and one-off workshop projects

- Reading plans and drawings and developing practical fabrication solutions





- Working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

What We’re Looking For

- Qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator, or strong proven industry experience

- Experience working with heavy vehicles, trailers or machinery is highly regarded

- Strong welding, fabrication and fitting skills

- Ability to read drawings and work from plans

- Practical problem-solving skills and a “make it work” attitude

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Robust attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

- Reliable, safety-focused and mechanically minded
