Active Built is a family-owned commercial & industrial builder based in Warwick, 11 years in and growing. We've built our name on quality workmanship, straight communication, and running tidy, well-organised sites. We're after a new carpenter to join the crew.

The pay and the deal

- Above award remuneration depending on your experience & capability
- Steady work, mainly around Warwick, with jobs in Toowoomba and surrounds
- Accommodation and travel allowances paid when you're working outside our normal area

The work Positive variety here. Concreting, structural steel, framing, cladding, roofing, windows and doors, internal fit-out and fit off, handrails and ramps. You'll also get across work a lot of carpenters never touch, like tilt panel buildings and structural steel.

Our projects range from commercial offices and industrial sheds to childcare centers, tilt slab buildings, property refurbishments and housing. You won't be stuck doing the same thing every week.

Where it can go





We like to promote from within. The path is there if you want it: Carpenter to team leader, site supervisor, site manager, project manager, construction manager. There's also a way across into estimating or design. As the business grows, so does the room to move.

Who we're after

Must have

- Trade-qualified carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
- White Card and a current driver's license

Nice to have:
- EWP license
- Excavator and bobcat tickets
- MR truck license
- Commercial or industrial building experience

The rest:
- Is a hard worker and takes pride in the finish and keeps the job tidy
- Turns up ready to work and does right by the crew and the client
