? Join Our Team at St James Community Kindergarten!
St James Kindergarten in Cleveland is seeking a dedicated Cert III or Diploma Qualified Educator to join our welcoming team on a casual basis.

? About the Role
As an Educator at St James Kindergarten, you will:
- Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through engaging play-based experiences.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Assist in delivering high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Contribute to planning, documentation, and learning experiences for children.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team.
- Help maintain a welcoming, safe, and well-presented learning workplace.
✅ About you
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards completion) or Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Kindergarten Experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework.
- Completed relevant Child Protecting Training course (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law)
- A current Blue Card and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
- A willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service.
- Food Handling experience (desired but not essential).
