Alfa Air Qld is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join their team!

This is a great opportunity for a qualified electrician to take the lead on electrical works for air conditioning installations, with the stability of Monday to Friday hours, no on-call or after-hours work, and a supportive team environment with strong systems in place. What you'll be doing?

- Electrical installations: Carry out electrical installation work for ducted, split, VRF and ERV air conditioning systems, working alongside a crew of refrigeration mechanics, installers and apprentices.
- Residential build work: Handle pre-slab, rough-in and fit-off electrical work on residential new builds, contributing to projects from start to finish.
- Switchboard work: Complete switchboard installations and upgrades, ensuring all work meets quality and safety expectations.
- General electrical work: Take on general electrical tasks outside of air conditioning as required, keeping each day varied and engaging.
- Standards compliance: Work to AS/NZS electrical and safety standards, upholding the high-quality standards the business is known for.
- Team coordination: Coordinate closely with refrigeration mechanics, installers and apprentices to keep projects running smoothly as part of a collaborative crew.
- Mentoring: Support and mentor apprentices, helping to build their skills and confidence on the job.
- Documentation: Complete compliance documentation accurately and on time, supporting smooth project delivery.
- Customer service:



Deliver skilled and friendly customer service while onsite, representing the business well.

Who are they looking for?

- Full working rights in Australia: Full working rights in Australia are required, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- QLD Electrical Licence: A current Queensland Electrical Licence is required for this role.
- QLD Driver's Licence: A current Queensland driver's licence is needed to travel between job sites.
- White Card: Holding or willingness to obtain a valid White Card is required to work on construction sites.
- CPR/LVR & First Aid: Current CPR/LVR and First Aid certifications are good to have for this role.
- Reliable and professional attitude: A reliable, organised and professional approach is valued, along with a strong sense of teamwork.
- Communication and time management: Strong communication and time-management skills will help in coordinating with the team and managing day-to-day tasks independently.
- Air conditioning experience: Experience in air conditioning is highly regarded but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate who wants to specialise in HVAC.
