Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC for a Qualified Roof Plumber and Plumbing Apprentice working on commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include installing, repairing, and maintaining metal roofing systems, wall cladding, gutters, downpipes, and roof plumbing components on commercial and industrial buildings. The role involves reading and interpreting plans, measuring and preparing materials, fitting flashings and box gutters, and assisting with roof safety systems installation.

Team members are expected to follow all safety procedures,



use tools and equipment correctly, and maintain a clean and organized work area. The role also includes liaising with site supervisors and other trades, troubleshooting on-site issues, and supporting the timely delivery of high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong roof plumbing skills, including installation and repair of metal roofing and associated plumbing systems.
- Experience working with pipes and related components in commercial roofing and drainage applications.
- Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on roofing, gutters, and roof plumbing infrastructure.
- General maintenance capabilities, including safe use of tools, equipment, and work platforms.
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with builders, site managers, and project stakeholders.
- Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeship in roof plumbing (or progress toward completion) are highly regarded.
- Knowledge of construction and roofing safety standards, with a commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team on commercial job sites.
- Current driver’s license and the ability to travel to various project locations as required.
