Role Description The Quality Assurance Associate (Part-time/Casual) will support quality systems and activities in an on-site laboratory environment located in Tennyson, QLD. This in office role (12-16 hours per week) will be working closely with scientific and operations staff to assist with routine quality checks, documentation review, and compliance monitoring across analytical testing and consultancy projects.

Daily tasks may include document management using an eQMS, verifying adherence to quality procedures, supporting internal audits, and helping investigate and document non-conformances. The associate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,



assist with training records and change controls, and ensure that quality-related documentation is accurate, complete, and easily accessible.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including familiarity with analytical laboratory quality systems and compliance processes;
- Candidates should possess strong analytical chemistry skills, particulaly exposure to instrumental HPLC methods to review data, support investigations and continuous improvement;
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Quality Management, such as maintaining documentation, supporting audits, and following established procedures and standards;
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with laboratory staff, document findings clearly, and report quality issues in a timely manner;
- Relevant qualifications may include a degree or diploma in pharmaceutical science, chemistry, quality management, or a related scientific discipline;
- Experience in a GMP, GLP, or ISO-certified environment, particularly within pharmaceuticals or related industries, is highly beneficial;
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to follow procedures precisely are essential;
- Comfort working on-site in a laboratory setting and using basic laboratory information systems or electronic documentation tools is advantageous.
