Nutrisoy is a leading Australian plant based food manufacturer supplying major retailers and food services nationwide. We are seeking for a proactive and detail oriented Quality Control Officer to join our Quality team.

The Role

As a Quality Control Officer, you are critical in identifying issues and ensuring food safety and quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process to support the delivery of high quality, tasty and nutritious plant based foods to our customers. You will oversee daily quality checks, review quality records and help maintaining a strong food safety culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

In this production floor based role, you will:

- Conduct routine quality inspections across production lines, including CCP/QCP monitoring.
- Monitor production processes to ensure procedures are adhered and accurate record keeping are maintained.
- Calibration of scientific apparatus such as Thermometers and pH meters.
- Support training of production staff in food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
- Investigate non-conformances, complete root-cause analysis,



and support corrective actions.
- Assist QA Manager with site certifications and customer audits.
- Develop a strong food safety culture by encouraging and promoting the importance of quality assurance and GMP to all staff

Requirements:

- Qualification(s) in food science or related discipline
- Experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, allergen controls, and regulatory requirements (FSANZ, retailer standards).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Hands on and willing to spend time on the factory/warehouse floor
- Motivated and self-driven with good attention to detail
- A proactive and positive attitude with commitment to achieving results
