Rindean Quarries Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Quarry Manager to take responsibility for the safe, compliant and productive operation of our quarry at Somersby, NSW.

We are looking for someone who is honest, reliable, professional and a genuine team player. This is an important leadership position requiring a strong understanding of quarry operations, workplace safety, regulatory compliance and team management.

About the role

As Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the quarry, including:

- Managing quarry operations, production and site personnel
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS, environmental, quarrying and statutory requirements
- Maintaining required inspections, risk assessments, documentation and compliance records
- Leading and promoting a strong safety-first culture
- Identifying and managing operational risks and hazards
- Supervising employees and contractors
- Coordinating plant, equipment and maintenance activities
- Monitoring production and operational performance
- Ensuring procedures, policies and site requirements are consistently followed
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and site presentation
- Liaising professionally with management, employees, contractors, regulators and other stakeholders
- Ensuring the site is prepared for regulatory inspections and audits
- Identifying opportunities to improve safety, productivity and operational efficiency

About you

We are seeking someone who:

- Holds the relevant qualifications, competencies and statutory requirements to manage a quarry in NSW
- Has demonstrated experience in quarrying, extractive industries, mining or a similar operational environment




- Has a strong understanding of workplace health and safety and regulatory compliance
- Is experienced in managing people, contractors and day-to-day site operations
- Is honest, dependable and accountable
- Demonstrates sound judgement and practical problem-solving skills
- Has excellent attention to detail, particularly in relation to compliance and record keeping
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Works well as part of a team and leads by example
- Takes pride in running a safe, organised and productive operation
- Is committed to maintaining high professional and ethical standards
