ABOUT US

West Group is a leading Refrigeration and HVAC company servicing major clients across NSW, including supermarkets, commercial facilities and industrial sites. With a strong reputation for reliability, professionalism and quality workmanship, we're expanding our service division and are seeking two skilled technicians to join our team.

THE ROLE

We're seeking motivated, experienced Service Technicians to join our Refrigeration and HVAC Service Team. You'll be responsible for fault finding, maintenance and repairs across supermarket refrigeration, cold storage, marine refrigeration and commercial HVAC, with a growing focus on natural refrigerant systems, including CO2 (R744) transcritical plant, as our retail clients transition to low-GWP technology.

You'll be supported by a dedicated Service Manager, Service Supervisor and Coordinator in a team environment where everyone works together.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Breakdown service, fault finding and repairs on commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, including CO2 and other natural refrigerant plant
- Preventative maintenance to keep systems running efficiently
- Working with the Service Manager and Supervisor on scheduling and technical support




- Exceptional customer service and accurate job records in SimPRO
- Identifying and quoting minor works and repairs
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and safety requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Trade qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician
- Demonstrated experience servicing CO2/natural refrigerant systems
- Valid ARCtick licence and driver's licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and qualified standards
