Registered Midwife - Maternity

Central Queensland | Contract Opportunity We are seeking experienced Registered Midwives (NRG 5) for maternity contract opportunities within a regional Queensland maternity service.

This is a great opportunity for a midwife with strong antenatal, postnatal and birth suite experience who is confident working across a varied maternity setting.

About the Role

You will provide safe, woman-centred care across:

- Antenatal care
- Postnatal care
- Labour and birth
- Birth Suite
- Maternal and newborn assessment
- Multidisciplinary collaboration
- Emergency management and clinical escalation as required

Essential / Desirable Experience

We are seeking midwives with:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Recent maternity experience
- Solid antenatal and postnatal experience
- Recent Birth Suite experience
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation competency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Confidence working within a regional maternity service
