In this role, you will provide effective holistic nursing care and ensure a safe working workplace for all staff and residents, while supporting a model of care that prioritizes collaboration, continuous learning, and resident wellbeing. /n /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

/n /n Specific Duties and Responsibilities /n /n Caring for People /n /n

- Provide direct nursing care and clinical guidance to residents, their families, and care staff.

- Supervise and support Assistants in Nursing (AINs), and nursing students.

/n

- Oversee and ensure accurate completion of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) documentation.

/n

- Manage appropriate allocation and responsible use of medical supplies and staff resources.

- Provide total resident care using a professional partnership and team-oriented approach.

- Promote teamwork among nurses for optimal resident outcomes.

- Facilitate education and professional development of nursing staff, including preceptorships and succession planning.

- Advocate for residents and their families within a multidisciplinary framework.

- Perform additional duties as directed by management

/n /n Selection Criteria /n /n Essential /n /n

- Bachelor of Nursing

/n

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

/n

- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and respect in all interactions

/n

- Recent experience in a clinical setting, hospital or aged care setting

/n

- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination in accordance with the current Public Health Directive for Aged Care Facilities and annual flu vaccination

/n

- Police Check Clearance

- Previous experience in aged care

- Knowledge of ACFI and relevant aged care standards
