About the role

Gisborne Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our growing general practice team in Gisborne, Victoria. The role involves working closely with our GPs, reception team and practice management to provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a busy general practice environment.

Key responsibilities

- Immunisations and vaccine management
- Wound care and dressings
- Assisting with minor procedures and skin cancer surgery
- Chronic disease management and care plans
- Health assessments
- ECG, spirometry and other clinical procedures
- Recalls and reminders
- Infection control and sterilisation
- Cold-chain monitoring
- Stock management
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and organisational skills




- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Previous general practice experience (highly regarded)
- Immunisation qualification (highly regarded)
- Experience with Best Practice software (highly regarded)
- Chronic disease management experience (highly regarded)
- Wound care experience (highly regarded)
