Lumia Care is partnering with Tasmania's public mental health services to recruit experienced Mental Health Registered Nurses for a variety of contract opportunities across some of the state's most beautiful locations.

About the Opportunities

We are seeking Mental Health RNs with recent experience in one or more of the following areas:

✔ Adult Community Mental Health

✔ Adult Inpatient Mental Health

✔ Child & Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS)

✔ Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) Services

✔ Case Management & Recovery-Focused Practice

✔ Acute Mental Health Assessment and Intervention

Contracts are available from late October 2026 through to January 2027 , with a range of durations to suit your availability.

What You'll Need

✔ Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse

✔ Minimum 2 years' Mental Health nursing experience

✔ Recent experience in Community, Inpatient, Child & Youth and/or AOD settings

✔ Current Australian Working Rights

✔ Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

✔ Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
