Sunshine Clinic Private Hospital is a growing private mental health service located in Melbourne’s west, providing compassionate, recovery-focused inpatient and outpatient care within a modern and supportive workplace.

As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking passionate and motivated Registered Nurses (RN) and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EEN) to join our clinical team.

About the Role

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering safe, evidence-based, and person-centred care to consumers accessing our mental health services. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate and experienced in mental health, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, compassionate, and recovery-oriented nursing care
- Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and clinical handovers
- Administer medications safely within scope of practice
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical documentation
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Promote a positive and therapeutic ward environment

About You

Registered Nurse (RN)

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse




- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Commitment to patient-centred and evidence-based care

Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN)
- Current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Understanding of scope of practice and medication endorsement requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

- Previous mental health nursing experience
- Experience within a private hospital setting
- Postgraduate or additional mental health qualifications
- Sound computer literacy and clinical documentation skills

Additional Information: · Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.

· SCPH will require a Working with Children’s check
