Emergency Medicine Registrar / Senior Medical Officer | Queensland ACEM-accredited Emergency Department | Adult & Paediatric Emergency Medicine | IMG Opportunities Sante Recruitment is working with an established Queensland referral hospital seeking Emergency Medicine doctors to join a busy and supportive Emergency Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for doctors looking to broaden their emergency medicine experience, progress their ACEM training or specialist pathway , and work within a major health service undergoing significant expansion.

The hospital is undergoing a billion-dollar redevelopment , which will deliver expanded emergency and clinical facilities and significantly enhance healthcare services across the region.

The Opportunity You will work alongside experienced Emergency Medicine consultants and senior clinicians, managing a broad range of adult and paediatric emergency presentations .

The role provides excellent exposure to acute medicine, trauma, resuscitation and procedural emergency care within an ACEM-accredited Emergency Department .

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute adult and paediatric presentations
- Participate in resuscitation, stabilisation and emergency procedures
- Coordinate patient admissions, referrals and discharge planning
- Work collaboratively with Emergency Medicine consultants, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in clinical handover and ongoing patient management
- Contribute to teaching, education and quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong clinical skills within a supportive senior medical team

About You Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

- Current AHPRA registration with at least 12 months' recent clinical experience




- Enrolled in an ACEM training program
- International Medical Graduate eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway or Standard Pathway
- IMG with a confirmed ACEM interview date
- IMG who has been assessed by ACEM as Partially Comparable or Substantially Comparable
