About the role You’ll deliver culturally safe nursing care to remote communities, with responsibilities varying by location and service. These may include:

- Primary healthcare, health assessments and chronic disease management
- Emergency assessment, stabilisation and retrieval coordination
- Immunisations,



wound care and health promotion
- Working alongside Aboriginal Health Practitioners, medical officers and visiting services
- Participating in on-call rosters where required

What we’re looking for

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Australian working rights
- Previous remote area nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment, emergency and primary healthcare skills
- Confidence working independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to culturally secure care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Relevant current training, such as ALS, REC and remote pharmacotherapeutics, depending on the placement
