About the role

Working closely with the Reservations Manager, your key responsibilities will involve:

- Supporting the day-to-day supervision of the reservations team, providing guidance, training and mentoring to ensure high levels of performance and service delivery
- Coordinating and managing staff rosters to ensure effective coverage during peak periods, adjusting as required in line with operational needs and employee availability
- Maintaining exceptional attention to detail to ensure booking accuracy and data integrity to minimise errors and ensure operational efficiency
- Managing guest enquiries and feedback in a courteous, timely and effective manner, ensuring all concerns are resolved in accordance with company guidelines and to the guest’s full satisfaction
- Applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve booking issues, discrepancies, and system errors in a timely and effective manner
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all products, services,



pricing and promotions to effectively support the team and respond to customer queries

About you

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in reservations within the hotel or tourism sector (desirable)
- Experience with Respax tour booking system and/or RMS property management System an advantage (desirable)
- Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both external guests and internal teams
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound decision-making and the capacity to assess situations and make balanced decisions within established guidelines
- Ability to work rotational shifts across a 7-day operation, with varying start and finish times between the hours of 6:30am and 6:00pm, including rotational weekend days and public holidays as required
