At The Sicilian, we serve an authentic Italian experience, from handmade pasta to rich, carefully pulled espresso. Our busy Forster restaurant is a little slice of Italy for locals and visitors alike, and we’re looking for a passionate leader to help us keep it that way.

About the Role

You’ll lead our front-of-house team, set the standard for service and coffee quality, and make sure every guest leaves wanting to come back.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, roster, train and motivate the restaurant and coffee team
- Deliver warm, memorable service and handle guest feedback with confidence
- Maintain consistent quality across espresso, cappuccino, latte and other coffee offerings
- Oversee daily operations in a fast-paced environment, keeping the restaurant and coffee station clean and organised
- Uphold food safety, hygiene and quality standards
- Support the team on the floor and the coffee machine when needed

About You

- Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience (preferred)




- A genuine passion for coffee, Italian food and great customer service
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
- RSA certificate (and barista experience, if you have it, is a bonus)
