About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Venue Manager to join RMS Group Brisbane Pty Ltd in Brisbane, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and success of our restaurant venue.

As Restaurant Venue

Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving business performance. This is a key leadership position within our hospitality operations, where your strategic vision and operational excellence will directly impact the venue's profitability and reputation in the competitive Brisbane hospitality market.

Key responsibilities

- Overseeing all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery

- Managing and supervising staff recruitment, training, development, and performance management to build and maintain a high-performing team

- Maintaining exceptional standards of customer service, ensuring all guests receive memorable dining experiences that encourage repeat business and positive reviews

- Implementing and monitoring food safety, health and hygiene standards, and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

- Managing inventory, ordering, and cost control measures to maximise profitability whilst maintaining product quality

- Handling customer complaints and concerns professionally and promptly, with a focus on resolution and relationship maintenance

- Monitoring financial performance, including budgeting, revenue targets, and P&L; accountability for the venue





- Creating and implementing marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive customer engagement and increase footfall

- Maintaining venue appearance and ambiance to reflect brand standards and create an inviting atmosphere

- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure operational continuity and service excellence

What we're looking for

- 5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality venue management, with proven track record of leading successful operations

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members at all levels

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

- Solid understanding of food safety, health and hygiene regulations, and best practices in hospitality

- Proficiency in restaurant management systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and basic financial management software

- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences

- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

- Knowledge of local Brisbane dining trends and the competitive hospitality landscape





- Flexibility to work wide-ranging shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the business

- Current Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain one
