About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Retail Manager to lead one of our flagship café locations. This role is hands-on and performance-focused, responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a high-performing team, and driving both customer experience and financial results.

You will play a key role in maintaining the Batch standard — where speed, quality, and service come together seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team aligned with Batch standards
- Manage staff rostering, labour targets, and productivity
- Monitor and drive sales performance, implementing strategies to improve revenue
- Maintain strong stock control systems, ordering, and waste management
- Ensure exceptional customer experience standards at all times
- Execute in-store merchandising and promotional activity




- Track and manage financial performance including costs, wages, and profitability
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with all health & safety standards
- Report to senior management on store performance and identify opportunities for growth

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in a retail or café management role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Experience managing KPIs, sales targets, and labour costs
- Solid understanding of stock control and operational systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for coffee, hospitality, and customer experience
