UMS are a well-established provider of school and professional uniforms, with multiple retail locations across Brisbane and surrounding areas. We are seeking a retail professional for a school uniform shop in the Ipswich and greater region.
The role is approximately 15 hours each week with more hours offered in peak periods. Ideally, you will float between our Ipswich region stores. Ipswich and Plainlands Region.
This is a fast-paced role with plenty of variety and medium fitness level is required.
The Role
As a Casual Retail Assistant, you'll be the face of our store – helping customers find the right fit, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers with product selection and fittings
- Operating the register and processing sales
- Restocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness
- Ensuring displays are neat and well-organised
- Packing online orders
- Supporting store teams during peak periods (e.g.,
back-to-school)

- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
- Someone compassionate and that can remain calm under pressure is essential
- Experienced in retail or customer service.
- Blue Card and Police Check will be required, which is funded from UMS for selected candidates.
