Become a Road Safety Advisor with RoadWise
- Location: Perth and regional WA opportunities available.
- Total Package: $115,234.96 per annum (inclusive of superannuation)
(Breakdown of remuneration - Base $102,888.36 + 12% Super $12,346.60)

Make change happen. Help Local Governments across WA make road safety part of everyday decision-making.
RoadWise is looking for people who can build relationships, influence local government organisations and turn priorities into action.
Don’t have a road safety background? That’s okay. You don't need to be a road safety expert on day one. What matters is your ability to work with people, facilitate conversations, build capability, influence without authority and support positive change. We'll help you build the road safety knowledge.
Road Safety Advisors sit in the sweet spot between strategy and action. They're not the decision-makers, but they play a critical role in helping others make better decisions.
About the role
This is a role for people who:
- know how to manage programs and projects
- are skilled at solving complex problems
- communicate with confidence and clarity
- can translate theory to action
- are curious and willing to learn
- enjoy working autonomously
You might currently work in program management, community development, stakeholder engagement, health promotion, local government, regional development or similar. Whatever your background, if you can build relationships, influence change and bring a fresh perspective, you'll already have many of the foundations needed to succeed in this role.
This role involves regular travel across your allocated region, and a WALGA vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
Applicants must hold a current C Class driver's licence and demonstrate a safe driving record.
Your experience could be exactly what RoadWise needs.
About RoadWise For more than 30 years, RoadWise has supported Local Governments across Western Australia to improve how road safety is governed, planned, managed and delivered.
RoadWise provides guidance, tools, resources and dedicated Road Safety Advisor support to help Councils identify priorities, build capability and embed better road safety practice.
Today, RoadWise supports 75 Councils across metropolitan, regional and remote WA, with more Councils continuing to join the program.
