:

We are looking for passionate, caring and experienced Room Leaders for our Nursery and Toddler Rooms to join our growing early learning team.

We are seeking dedicated educators who genuinely enjoy working with babies and toddlers, understand the importance of nurturing relationships and are confident in leading and supporting a team.

As a Room Leader, you will play an important role in creating a safe, warm and engaging setting where children feel secure, supported and encouraged to learn and explore.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support the daily operations of the Nursery or Toddler Room.
- Create a nurturing, safe and stimulating learning environment for babies and toddlers.
- Plan and implement meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Support children's individual routines, including feeding, sleeping, nappy changing and personal care.
- Build secure, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Guide, mentor and support educators within your room.
- Maintain high-quality observations, learning documentation and educational programs.
- Encourage children's independence, communication, emotional development and early learning.
- Ensure effective supervision, hygiene and health and safety practices.
- Work collaboratively with the Educational Leader, Centre Director and wider team.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Diploma qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care, or holding an approved equivalent qualification.
- Experienced working with babies and/or toddlers in an early childhood setting.




- Confident leading a room and supporting a team of educators.
- Knowledgeable about the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Passionate about responsive caregiving, play-based learning and children's development.
- Warm, patient, nurturing and attentive to children's individual needs.
- Organised, reliable and a positive team player.
- Confident communicating with families and building robust relationships.
- Holding a current Working with Children Check.

Previous Room Leader experience will be highly regarded. Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications will also be highly regarded.
