Growth Mindset Campbelltown is seeking an experienced and dedicated Toddler Room Leader to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for an educator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education who is passionate about supporting children's development, leading a team and creating a nurturing, engaging and stimulating learning environment.

About the Role

As our Toddler Room Leader, you will lead the daily operations of the toddler room, supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing during these important early years. You will inspire your team to deliver high-quality educational experiences that encourage curiosity, independence, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

This is a full-time position with a adaptable rotating roster, offering the opportunity to become part of a supportive team that values professional growth, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education.
- Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, play-based learning experiences tailored to toddlers' individual interests, needs and developmental stages.
- Develop and maintain a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong, respectful and collaborative relationships with families, children and colleagues.
- Observe, document and assess children's learning and development, using these observations to inform future planning.




- Support children's emotional wellbeing, independence, social skills and positive behaviour.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, room records and learning portfolios.
- Promote child safety, supervision, hygiene and safe practices at all times.
- Contribute to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan and ongoing continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive team culture built on respect, communication, accountability and a growth mindset.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Early Childhood Education, with demonstrated experience in a leadership role highly regarded.
- A recognised Early Childhood Education and Care qualification, preferably a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A sound understanding of child development, particularly the toddler age group.
- Knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Framework and relevant regulatory requirements.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- The ability to lead, motivate and support a team of educators.
- A warm, nurturing and professional approach when working with children and families.
- Strong initiative,



problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management qualifications, or a willingness to obtain them.
- A current Working with Children Check and the ability to meet all applicable employment and regulatory requirements.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster and a commitment to being a reliable and supportive team member.
