Australia

Company Description PayComplAI is an AI-powered payroll compliance platform designed for Australian businesses that need to keep pace with complex Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and Fair Work regulations. The tool automates payroll audits, turning days of manual checking into hours by instantly flagging underpayments and compliance gaps. With wage theft now a criminal offence in Australia and underpayments costing businesses hundreds of millions of dollars, PayComplAI helps organizations reduce risk and meet their legal obligations.

The solution is built for payroll providers, consultants, franchise head offices, and mid-size employers with HR and payroll teams. PayComplAI is currently onboarding pilot partners across Australia and continues to evolve its technology in line with legislative changes.

Role Description This is a remote, contract Sales Executive role focused on driving adoption of PayComplAI among Australian businesses.

The Sales

Executive will prospect and qualify leads within target segments such as payroll providers, advisory firms, franchise networks, and mid-size employers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting discovery calls, understanding client needs around payroll compliance, delivering product demos, and clearly communicating PayComplAI’s value proposition and ROI. The role involves managing the sales pipeline,

preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and working closely with the founders to refine messaging and go-to-market strategies.

The Sales

Executive will also gather market feedback, contribute to sales enablement materials, and support onboarding of new pilot partners to ensure a smooth handover to customer success.

Qualifications

- Strong B2B sales skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, pipeline management, and closing recent business.
- Experience selling SaaS, AI, or compliance-related solutions, ideally to HR, payroll, or finance stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Australian payroll, employment law, HR processes, or compliance frameworks is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.

- Relevant experience in business development, account management, or sales, with demonstrated results in similar markets.
