Bakers Delight Cameron Park is a brand new bakery opening this December at Cameron Park Plaza. The franchise is family owned, locally based and operated by an experienced baker with more than 16 years in the Bakers Delight network. About the Role

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Sales Manager, Sales Assistants and Junior Sales Assistants to join the team at our exciting new bakery opening in Cameron Park Plaza.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand new store from the very beginning, helping to create a positive team culture and deliver an outstanding customer experience. While the bakery will be new, you won't be starting alone. Our established bakery team at our other location will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support, ensuring you have the skills, knowledge and confidence to transition into the new store successfully.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about retail, enjoy engaging with customers, possess strong sales abilities, and thrive in a fast paced environment.

You will be supported by experienced owners and a dedicated team who are committed to helping you develop your skills, build your confidence and grow your career within the retail and hospitality industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service,



driving sales through product knowledge and upselling, maintaining high merchandising and presentation standards, and ensuring the smooth day to day operation of the bakery. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back time and time again.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing outstanding customer service and building positive customer relationships
- Assisting customers with product selection and recommendations
- Actively upselling and cross selling products to maximize sales opportunities
- Processing sales transactions and handling cash, EFTPOS and other payment methods accurately
- Maintaining attractive and effective merchandise displays throughout the store
- Replenishing stock and ensuring shelves are fully stocked and well presented
- Assisting with stock control, stocktakes and inventory management
- Opening and closing the store as required
- Ensuring a clean, protected and organized store environment at all times, with strict adherence to cleaning standards
- Supporting day to day store operations and administrative tasks
- Assisting in achieving sales targets and store performance goals
- Following company policies and procedures, including Workplace Health and Safety standards

Experience and Qualifications

- Previous retail, sales or customer service experience is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a customer focused approach
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast paced workplace




- Ability to work weekends and flexible schedule as required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and store presentation
- A willingness to learn and contribute to a team focused culture

What We're Looking for in a Sales Manager

- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Experience with staff rostering, stock ordering and inventory control
- Confidence in managing staff performance and difficult conversations when required
- Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
- A hands on approach with a willingness to support the team during busy periods

- Rotating rosters including opening and closing shifts, weekends and fast paced service periods
