The prospect

Working across application development, experience design, cloud solutions and low-code/no-code platforms, you will design solutions that support our clients’ business growth and transformation. You will combine deep SAP expertise with broader software engineering, cloud and AI capability to connect business requirements with practical technical delivery.

This is a senior, client-facing technical architecture role encompassing solution design, development leadership, mentoring and pre-sales. You will bring a strong foundation in hands-on development and the technical depth to guide teams through complex delivery decisions.

You will

- Define technical architectures and roadmaps across SAP BTP, AI, integration and application development.
- Design clean-core-aligned solutions using extensions, APIs and appropriate integration patterns.




- Assess existing ABAP developments and guide decisions on retaining, modernising or moving functionality to BTP.
- Identify and develop practical AI use cases, translating opportunities into solutions that deliver business value.
- Provide technical direction to developers, review solution designs and code, and establish development standards.
- Work with clients to understand requirements, explain technical options and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support pre-sales through discovery workshops, solution proposals, estimates and technical presentations.
- Mentor colleagues and help build Libertas’ broader SAP BTP and AI capability.

Your skills and experience

You will bring

- At least ten years’ relevant technical experience, spanning software development, solution architecture and technical leadership, including substantial experience in SAP environments.
- Proven experience architecting and personally developing SAP BTP applications, with clear examples of solutions delivered for clients.
- Strong capability across SAP BTP application development, integration and cloud architecture.
- Practical experience with SAP AI Core and/or generative AI capabilities, including their application to business solutions.
- An ABAP development foundation and an understanding of modern SAP extensibility and clean-core principles.
- Broader software engineering experience using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java or Python.




- The ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and guide teams through implementation.
- Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management and pre-sales skills.
- Experience mentoring developers and taking responsibility for technical quality and delivery outcomes.

Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP Integration Suite, REST and OData APIs, SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA Cloud and CDS modelling will be highly regarded. Broader cloud experience across GCP, Azure or AWS is also valuable.
