- Key responsibilities include SAP systems governance, operational support, user access and security management, system enhancements, and continuous improvement across core business functions.

The Role The SAP Systems Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and ongoing improvement of Perseus’ SAP workplace. Acting as the key liaison between business stakeholders and external service providers, you will coordinate the support and enhancement of critical SAP systems that enable key business processes across our finance, supply chain, maintenance, and human resources functions. This role will oversee system governance, user access and security, incident and change management, AMS provider coordination, system enhancements and releases. You will also identify opportunities to improve processes, maintain data quality, security compliance and operational stability across corporate and operational teams.

About You To succeed in this role, you are a proactive and technically capable SAP professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a commitment to governance and compliance, and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions and international operations.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Demonstrated experience supporting, administering or coordinating SAP solutions across finance, supply chain, maintenance and /or human resource business processes.
- Experience working SAP application managed services providers or external support partners.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline,



or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Sound understanding of end-to-end business processes in finance, supply chain and/or asset maintenance, and how they are enabled in SAP.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously and deliver to deadlines.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential business and employee data.

It would be beneficial if you have:

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori and SAP cloud technologies.
- SAP certification in one or more modules
- Experience supporting SAP in the mining and resources sector or across multi-site, international operations.
- Experience coordinating SAP releases, enhancements or application lifecycle activities.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI).
- French language skills relevant to Perseus’s West African operations.

Where you’ll be working This position is based in Perseus’ Subiaco office. You’ll join a small corporate team, allowing for close interactions across all departments and levels of the business.
