School Based Business Traineeship The School-based Opportunity

Undertaking this school-based traineeship will give you the opportunity to complete a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business while gaining valuable experience in the workplace, and set you up for a successful business career.

Partnered with our host Chinchilla Community Commerce & Industry, you will develop recent skills through the completion of tasks including planning, coordinating, delivering administrative support for community events, accurately managing workflow, and other general administration duties.

About You

- Achieving satisfactory school grade
- Applicants must currently be enrolled in Year 11, or be completing Year 10 in 2026 and progressing into Year 11 in 2027 – this opportunity is designed for school-based trainees,



therefore candidates who have already completed Year 12 are not eligible to apply
- Motivated to learn new tasks
- Demonstrate positivity and willingness to work in a team
- Strong computer, literacy, and numeracy skills
- High level of safety awareness
- Willing to work every Tuesday from 8:30am to 4:00pm
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen

Successful applicants will commence in early February 2027.

This position is based in Chinchilla. Applicants must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Chinchilla area.
