As part of The Bristol's exciting multi-level hospitality precinct, you'll join a team delivering memorable experiences to guests across one of Sydney CBD's standout dining and entertainment destinations.

About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic, personable and service-driven Hostpersons and Section Waitstaff to join the Ela Ela team on a casual basis.

As a Hostperson, you'll be one of the first points of contact for our guests, creating a warm welcome, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and helping ensure a smooth and enjoyable arrival experience.

As Section Waitstaff, you'll take ownership of your section, delivering attentive and engaging table service while helping guests explore Ela Ela's Greek-inspired menu and beverage offerings. You'll play an important role in creating a relaxed, memorable dining experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail.

We're looking for people who enjoy connecting with guests, take pride in their presentation and thrive in a collaborative restaurant environment. Whether welcoming guests at the door or delivering exceptional service on the floor, you'll help bring the spirit of Greek hospitality to life.

Key Responsibilities:





- Welcome guests warmly and create an exceptional first impression
- Manage reservations through SevenRooms, guest arrivals and seating arrangements (Hostperson)
- Coordinate table allocations and maintain a smooth flow of guests throughout service (Hostperson)
- Assist guests with enquiries, menu information and general venue information
- Deliver attentive, friendly and personalised table service throughout the guest experience (Section Waitstaff)
- Take orders accurately and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams
- Develop a strong understanding of Ela Ela's Greek-inspired menu, beverages and daily specials
- Make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
- Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain the presentation, cleanliness and organisation of guest-facing areas
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service
- Help create a welcoming, energetic and professional atmosphere throughout the restaurant

About You:

- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment is highly regarded
- Experience as a Hostperson, Hostess, Section Waitstaff or in a similar customer-facing role is advantageous
- A warm, confident and naturally engaging personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for food, beverage and delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Strong attention to detail and professional presentation
- Confident interacting with guests and working as part of a team




- Able to remain calm, organised and attentive in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and proactive, with a solid work ethic
- Flexible availability across days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
