Qualifications & Experience

- Candidate must have a current Drivers License, Cabling License & Security License.
- Any cabling qualification will be accepted for the cabling licence requirement.
- Any security licence will be accepted for the security licence requirement.
- Candidate would benefit from having a white card & Lifter License
- It is preferable to have at least 24 months in the security industry or similar.
- Any certificates or proof of completed training in the CCTV and security fields would benefit the candidate.





Position Overview – Service Technician

The Service Technician plays a key role in maintaining, fault‑finding, and supporting a wide range of security systems across NL Security’s client base. This role suits a technician with solid foundational knowledge who is eager to broaden their skills across multiple platforms and technologies.

Core Responsibilities

- Complete detailed maintenance reports and service documentation
- Diagnose and fault‑find issues across alarm, access control, and CCTV systems
- Perform routine servicing of CCTV & Security systems
- Support installation teams when required
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and onsite professionalism

Security System Knowledge

A working understanding of multiple security platforms is desirable, including:

- Paradox
- Hills Reliance
- Inception
- Tecom

Basic programming knowledge is sufficient to begin in this role, with training and development provided.

CCTV Systems

Experience with the following CCTV platforms is highly desirable:

- Hikvision
- Nx Witness

Technicians will be required to perform servicing, fault‑finding, camera adjustments, and system health checks
