Your recent role

Working closely with the Principal, you will manage a portfolio of established clients while providing high-quality compliance and advisory services. This is a hands-on client-facing position that will suit someone confident managing relationships independently and acting as a trusted adviser.Responsibilities will include:

- Managing a portfolio of investment and SME clients
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
- Providing taxation and business advice to clients
- Building strong relationships with Chinese-speaking and English-speaking clients
- Meeting with clients and managing queries directly




- Identifying opportunities to add value through proactive advice
- Assisting with workflow management and mentoring junior team members where required
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the practice

What you'll need to succeed

- CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion
- Previous experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting principles
- Ability to manage client relationships with confidence and professionalism
- Experience handling complex client matters with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
