Are you looking to step away from traditional compliance focused accounting and work more closely with high-net-worth family groups and sophisticated private wealth structures? An established and growing CBD based advisory and accounting firm is seeking a Business Services Senior Accountant to join their collaborative team. This is an opportunity to work with the more complex client groups, gain significant client exposure with a explicit pathway toward an Assistant Manager position.

Your new role

-Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and family group clients-Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns

-Work across companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs

-Assist with more complex tax planning and advisory matters

-Assist with reviewing work prepared by junior and offshore team members

-Provide mentoring and technical support to junior staff

-Build and maintain strong client relationships

-Liaise directly with business owners, executives and professional advisers





-Contribute to process improvements and ongoing growth of the practice

What you'll need to succeed

-4+ years' experience within Business Services & Tax-CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)

-Strong experience with companies, trusts, partnerships and family groups

-Confident managing a client portfolio and relationships independently

-Previous experience reviewing work or mentoring junior staff advantageous

-Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge

-Experience using Xero and Xero Tax desirable

-Excellent communication skills

-Full working rights (No sponsorship considered)
